Dr. James J. Wang is honorary associate professor at the University of Hong Kong, visiting associate professor at City University of Hong Kong. Born in Beijing, he received his Bachelor in Economics from the People's University of China, M.Phil from the University of Hong Kong, and Ph.D. from University of Toronto. As a portcity specialist, Dr. Wang has published widely as both author and editor in many internationally refereed journals and books. He is advisor of various committees on transport or port area development, and participated in many port-city planning projects and strategic studies for major Chinese and Asian cities.
Ms. Jessie Chung
Chairman, Hong Kong Container Terminals Association
Ms Jessie Chung graduated from the University of Hong Kong and has more than 25 years of experience in container terminals management. Jessie used to be the management staff of the department of corporate affairs, commercial department and logistics department of Modern Terminals. Jessie has been involved in different aspects of the terminals operations. In 2008, Jessie served as a general management and director of Hong Kong River Trade Terminal, and became Chairman of the Hong Kong Container Terminals Association in 2013 to enhance the competitiveness of Hong Kong Container Port.
