Mr John Pashen Planning Department HK Airport Authority


Mr John Pashen has 37 years experience in the aviation industry in Australia, the South Pacific and in Asia. He has worked as an airport engineer, professional pilot, airport planner and as operartions manager at major airports.


In recent years Mr Pashen worked for the International Civil Aviation Organisation in the Philippines as a civil aviation adviser to the President of the Philippines, and since 1990 with the Airport Authority of Hong Kong on the planning for Hong Kong’s new airport at Chek Lap Kok. Currently Mr Pashen is the General Manager (Airport Planning) with the Airport Authority of Hong Kong and is responsible for the planning of future facilities at the airport.


Mr Pashen holds a degree in civil engineering, and maintains currency as a commercial pilot.
